On March 15, 2005 we began the deconstruction of the Phillips House, an 1874 double bracketed
Italianate located in charming Medina, Ohio. The home was available for the sum of $1.00 to After two trips to Medina in January and February, I decided that the home with it's marble mantle, oak floors, walnut staircase, and abundant Victorian trim was worth the effort. I made a plan to disassemble the interior and exterior trim, and saw the walls into movable pieces that could make the two thousand five hundred mile journey to a new location in Forestville, California.
